PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the accurate result of comparison of the degrees of visceral fat obesity when the degrees of fat measured at different hours are compared in a plurality of echo images. SOLUTION: When a past abdominal echo image and a present abdominal echo image are juxtaposed to compare the degrees of visceral fat obesity, corresponding characteristic points are predetermined, and a reference position in the present abdominal echo image is corrected so that the reference position for computing the degree of visceral fat obesity is identical with the predetermined characteristic points in the positional relationship. Specifically, the reference position in the present abdominal echo image is set so that the distance from the reference position (a starting point of a prescribed width X) to the characteristic point 81 and the distance to the characteristic point 82 are the same offset quantityα.
