摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin solid electrolytic capacitor which has an excellent degree of freedom in component arrangement, a simple structure and production process, and in particular excellent production efficiency and reliability. SOLUTION: The production method of the solid electrolytic capacitor includes a step of forming a concave part on the surface of a metal plate consisting of a valve metal so that an aluminum bare metal is exposed from the copper layer face of a complex material forming the copper layer, a step of sequentially forming on the inner face of the concave part an oxidized film layer, a solid electrolytic layer and a cathode terminal part, and a step of arranging the cathode terminal so that the cathode terminal part forms the same face as that of the copper layer to form the solid electrolytic capacitor. By integrating each of the solid electrolytic capacitor elements such as the oxide film layer, the solid electrolytic layer and the cathode terminal in the concave part of one face of the complex metal plate, the electrolytic capacitor, having a short current pathway with an excellent transient response performance, and being thin and superior in the degree of freedom of component arrangement, is produced with an excellent efficiency. In addition, since the copper layer pre-formed in an anode body is used as an anode terminal, it eliminates the need for forming the time-consuming terminal such as a gold bump, and the production efficiency is further improved.
