PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination system capable of easily settling a depositing/dispensing amount at a counter terminal device 1 on the basis of each business day, without collecting cash at the completion of daily business. SOLUTION: The examination system includes a cash depositing/dispensing machine 2 for paying out and receiving cash, and the counter terminal device 1 connected to the cash depositing/dispensing machine 2. The cash depositing/dispensing machine 2 includes a counter value memory means 22 for storing counter values indicative of the actual results of cash payment and reception. Further, the counter terminal device 1 includes a counter value acquisition and storage means 14 for storing the counter values after obtaining from the counter value memory means 22 of the cash depositing/dispensing machine 2, and a counter value difference calculation means 17 for calculating the difference of the counter values obtained at the start and completion of business.
