<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slippers and shoes that are designed to be lined up properly, which inhibits unconcerned adults from taking off footwear in a disorderly manner whether in public facilities or at home, and which is useful for disciplining of children in mind and form through the manner of lining up footwear properly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slippers/shoes 1 in which a pair are lined up side by side properly have a simple structure. When a pair are taken off with inside symbol marks 3 lined to face each other, magnets 2 incorporated inside the shoe uppers or soles are attracted to each other by magnetism, making the left and right slippers or shoes properly lined up spontaneously. Even if some external force is imparted to the slippers and shoes, they are not thrown into disorder because of the retention force of the magnets. In addition, since the footwear is structured to have no projections of the joining magnets on the surface, there is no fear of stumbling or falling due to rubbing between the magnets during walking. Further, when the slippers/shoes are cleaned by wiping or washing, the magnets do not cause obstruction or injury because the magnets are incorporated inside the footwear.
