<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and easily acquire information indicating characteristics to be speckles or non-speckles. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic signal processing apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe 20 transmitting ultrasonic wave to a subject, receiving ultrasonic echo from the internal of the subject, and generating a receiving signal indicating the ultrasonic echo; a signal processing section 24 and a phase difference image generation section 28 acquiring a plurality of phase differences corresponding to the frequencies of the ultrasonic waves respectively from the receiving signal; and a speckle indicator calculation section 30 calculating speckle indicators corresponding to the dimensions of a ratio of a plurality of frequencies and a ratio of the plurality of phase differences.
