PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera for recording captured image data and information related with detected smell while reflecting the intention of a user. SOLUTION: The camera 1 for recording image data based on an image pickup signal to be output by an image sensor which picks up the image of an object light includes: a smell detection part 22 for detecting a plurality of smell components; a selection part 23 for selecting whether to record the smell information based on the smell components detected by the smell detection part; and a recording control part 23 for, when the selection of the recording of the smell information is performed by the selection part, recording the smell information in association with the image data.
