PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding robot device, wherein it is possible to set a condition slope section for slope-controlling an electric current/voltage and of a speed slope section for slope-controlling a welding speed, individually. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the arc welding robot 1 which changes welding conditions from an initial setting value to a regular setting value, in a slope shape, during the movement of a welding torch T in a section formed by a starting point and an end point determined on a welding line. The robot includes: a setting means TP which individually sets the condition slope section for changing an electric current/voltage and the speed slope section for changing a welding speed; a welding condition control means 13 for gradually changing the electric current/voltage from the initial setting value to the regular setting value in the condition slope section; and a welding speed control means 11 for gradually changing a welding speed from the initial welding speed to the regular welding speed in the speed slope section. Since a completion timing can be shifted between the condition slope and the speed slope, an intended welding execution result can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
