The kit has a die like application device for applying mono color or multi color decorative cosmetics preparation e.g. powder, on skin, where the application device has a sponge like material as an application medium. The application medium is formed from pored latex material or polyester sponge and has elliptical or circular segment shapes. The cosmetics preparation is provided in solid form during room temperature. A silicate coat is provided on the cosmetics preparation and includes average grit size of 1 to 50 micro meters. An independent claim is also included for a method for applying decorative cosmetics preparation on skin.
