The system has a condensation steam turbine (1) with a corrugated labyrinth (12), and a fresh steam-side compensating piston (9) having a compensation circuit (10). An accumulated steam discharge pipeline (22) is provided before a pressure retention valve (21), and ends into a blocking steam supply line (13) such that steam is guided into the blocking steam supply line and the labyrinth is blocked by the piston via the pipeline when a preset pressure level is achieved in the compensation circuit upstream of the retention valve.
