PURPOSE: Antioxidant active compositions containing compounds from Ishige okamurae is provided to offer novel anti-allergy activity to compounds from Ishige okamurae, and to prevent and cure diseases. CONSTITUTION: Antioxidant active compositions containing compounds from Ishige okamurae are used as chemicals for treating or preventing various ROS-related diseases. A fluoro tannin compound is selected from a group consisting of phloroglucinol, diphlorethohydroxycarmalol, or 6,6'- bieckol.
