PURPOSE: A broadcasting program display apparatus and a method thereof are provided to improve the satisfaction of users by displaying a digest image including broadcasting programs which the users watch using a displaying time. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting program display apparatus comprises the following: a broadcast program receiver(210) receiving a broadcasting program fixed with a receiving time; a digest receiver receiving a digest image of the broadcasting program and receiving time information; a memory saving the receiving time information and the digest image; a display panel(250) displaying the program to a monitor as a main screen and the digest image to a sub screen; and a display restriction unit(252) displaying the digest image again when the receiving time is over.
