<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lithographic printing plate which maintains a hydrophilic property to maintain stain resistance to a non-exposed part and maintains a high level of sensitivity and printing durability of an exposed part, in an image recording layer of a photosensitive lithographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate has an undercoat layer and a photosensitive image recording layer formed on a support, in this order. The undercoat layer contains a polymer compound. The polymer compound has in a repeat unit: (a) at least one functional group which interacts with the surface of the support; and (b) a polymer compound having at least one hydrophilic group, or (ab) a polymer compound containing a group as a functional group which interacts with the surface of the support and at the same time a hydrophilic group, wherein the coating ratio of the surface of the support by the undercoat polymer compound of the non-exposed part is 20-80% after development using a pH 2-11 developing agent after exposure of the lithographic printing plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
