<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system having excellent operability in drawing a signature. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal for adding signature data to print data is provided with authentication information for asking for permission to add a signature. A server is provided with the signature data and setting data. In the server, a signature addition permitting means is used to refer to the authentication information and the setting data from the terminal to allow the signature data to be added.
