<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block copolymer excellent in dispersibility in water and solubility in solvents, an aqueous dispersed liquid with small dispersed particles and excellent in such as adhesiveness to various base materials, storage stability, weatherability and water resistance, and also to provide a solvent solution excellent in adhesiveness to various base materials, weather resistance, water resistance, and a compatibility with the other resins. <P>SOLUTION: The block copolymer (C) is composed of (A) a polymer block composed mainly of an olefin monomer unit, and (B) a polymer block composed of 2-25 mole% of a vinyl monomer unit having a carboxyl group and 98-75 mole% of the other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the vinyl monomer. The weight ratio of the polymer block (A) and the polymer block (B) is (A)/(B)=70/30-40/60. The aqueous dispersed liquid contains the block copolymer (C) in a water solution of a basic substance of 0.05 equivalent or more to the carboxyl groups.
