<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous dehydration method with a high yield which does not cause the decomposition of a product and the progression of side reactions in dehydrating 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene. <P>SOLUTION: In the purification step, crude 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene undergone washing with water and/or washing with a basic aqueous solution is brought into contact with a specific zeolite. Although 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene is a fluoroolefin having a trifluoromethyl group, this method enables dehydration without causing decomposition or hydration reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
