<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw payout device for game balls, reducing rotational load of a screw due to gravity of the game ball. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tank 1 includes: a storing portion 2 forming a storing space S for the game balls; and a screw housing portion 20 projecting from the storing portion 2 to house the screw 10. The screw 10 is housed in a vertical attitude to the screw housing portion 20 and exposed to the storing space S. The lower part and the upper part of the screw housing portion 20 are respectively provided with a payout discharge opening and a recovery discharge opening. The game balls are carried from the tank 1 to the payout discharge opening 23 by the screw 10 rotated in one of two opposing directions, and the game balls are carried from the tank 1 to the recovery discharge opening by the screw 10 rotated in the other direction opposite to the one direction.
