PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of an elevator door capable of reducing manufacturing cost and improving the efficiency of installation work. SOLUTION: A photoelectric sensor 10 is arranged at an end of a closing direction side of a low-speed side car door panel 4B. The photoelectric sensor 10 has a projection and a light receiving part. The projection emits detection light X. The light receiving part receives reflected light Y generated by an effect that the detection light X emitted from the projection reaches an object and is reflected. In the case that a low-speed side landing door panel 7B is arranged at a full-close position, the detection light X reaches an end at a full close position side of the low-speed side landing door panel 7B through an opening of a high-speed side car door panel 4A and a high-speed side landing door panel 7A and returns to the light receiving part as the reflected light Y.
