PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability alarm allowing suppression/prevention of a false alarm while maintaining an alarm point in a high concentration. SOLUTION: This alarm has gas detection means deciding that a detection target gas is detected when a level of an electric signal outputted by a gas sensor performing conversion into the level of the electric signal corresponding to a concentration of the detection target gas and outputting it becomes a prescribed first threshold value or above, and also has an output change amount arithmetic means obtaining a level change amount of the electric signal outputted per prescribed time by the gas sensor. The gas detection means decides that the detection target gas is detected when the level of the electric signal outputted by the gas sensor becomes a prescribed second threshold value or above and when the level change amount obtained by the output change amount arithmetic means is a prescribed third threshold value or above.
