FIBROUS REINFORCING AGENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-like reinforcing agent which has a high degree of dispersive properties over a matrix resin while capable of effectively reinforcing the matrix resin. SOLUTION: The fiber-like reinforcing agent contains microfibers (A) and (B), which can be obtained by making a mechanical shearing force act on a cellulosic fiber (A) and a synthetic resin fiber (B) within a solvent. The fiber (B) can be of olefin type split fiber. The solid content weight ratio of the cellulosic fiber (A) to the fiber (B) can be 10/90 to 90/10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
