<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical air filter usable for a spinning apparatus, resistant to the burning thereof, achieving high void ratio, and causing no dispersion in air flow rate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A new cylindrical air filter with a specific configuration is provided. The cylindrical air filter includes first and second metallic nets 1 and 2. The first net has a rough mesh and is cylindrically wound into plural layers. The second metal net has fine mesh and is combined with the first net, cylindrically wound into plural layers, and inserted between each of the layers of the first net 1.
