<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator using a Stirling engine causing little noises. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power generater includes the Stirling engine and a support base supporting the Stirling engine. The support base includes a support column, and a support plate having an end fixed with the support column. The Stirling engine is supported on the support plate via a support rod. One end of the support rod is fixed to the Stirling engine, and the other end of the support rod is supported with a vibration control and support device attached to the support plate. The vibration control and support device includes a bracket having a spring receiving part and to which the other end of the support rod is fixed, a compression coil spring held between the spring receiving part of the bracket and the support plate in a state of being vertically compressed, a fitting tool fixed to the support plate, and a vibration control rubber member elastically connecting the bracket to the fitting tool. The vibration control and support device is arranged in the vicinity of the support column so that the fitting tool is nearer to the support column than the bracket.
