<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting having a door the aesthetic appearance of which is neatly designed and capable of securing the heat insulation performance of the door. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Lighting units 30 each having a light-permeable panel 32 attached to respective unit frames 31 are installed between a pair of metal surface plates 20 each having an opening 21 for lightening in such a manner that the unit frames 31 are fixed to the peripheral edges of the openings 21, respectively. The portions of the surfaces 20a of the two surface plates 20 other than those of the openings 21 are formed flat so that the aesthetic appearance of the door can be neatly designed. The unit frames 31 have heat insulation properties, and do not have a tendency to transfer heat to one side surface 31a in the out-of-plane direction and the other side surface 31b in the out-of-plane direction so that the heat insulation performance of the door can be assured.
