<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid resin composition whose crystallization rate can be improved without lowering rigidity, and to provide a method for producing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided the polylactic acid resin composition comprising a polylactic acid resin component, an acid amide compound component for promoting the crystallization of the polylactic acid-based resin, and a low molecular organic compound component containing at least one of a fatty acid glyceride and a fatty acid ester, wherein the fatty acid ester is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of stearyl stearate, behenyl behenate, cetyl myristate, lauryl laurate, octyl stearate, octyl palmitate, isopropyl palmitate, isopropyl myristate, butyl stearate, and butyl laurate.
