<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a β-type titanium alloy plate with its anisotropy being suppressed, and a method for manufacturing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the β-type titanium alloy plate, a β-type titanium alloy is subjected to the primary hot rolling in one direction at the temperature of equal to or lower than the β-transformation point and with the draft of ≥35%, and then, subjected to the secondary hot rolling in the direction of 70-90° with respect to the primary hot rolling direction at the temperature of equal to or lower than the β-transformation point and with the draft of ≥35% to ≤80%.
