PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a transmitting mechanism capable of separating a driving source such as a motor and a driven body such as a brush with a simple mechanism in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: When a tooth 51a of a brush-side gear 51 is positioned at an idle region fa of a driving-side gear 54, the tooth 51a of the brush-side gear 51 and a tooth 54a of the driving-side gear 54 are in a positional relationship that they are not brought into contact with each other, and are not engaged with each other. In this state, a driving force transmitting mechanism 100 separates the brush-side gear 51 from the driving-side gear 54, so that it easily separates between the brush-side gear 51 and the driving-side gear 54. Since the separation between the brush-side gear 51 and the driving-side gear 54, that is, between the brush 23 and a body, is smoothly performed, opening and closing motion of a moving panel 6 can be smoothly performed.
