PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow channel structure with an electrowetting valve capable of certainly controlling the flow of a liquid. SOLUTION: In the flow channel structure with the electrowetting valve having the electrowetting valve, which controls the flow of the liquid within a flow channel, arranged thereto, the electrowetting valve has the acting electrode formed to the specific region within the flow channel and the reference electrode formed on the upstream side of the specific region having the acting electrode formed thereto. While a voltage is not applied across both electrodes, the pressure acting on the flow channel at the upstream end of the acting electronic is made positive and the pressure acting on the flow channel on the downstream side of the acting electrode is made zero or negative.
