A device for absorbing rotational oscillations in a combustion engine, especially in a car, operating between the engine and gear comprises an input shaft (6) connected to a gear drive shaft (8) with relatively weak rotation bar springs (10,11) and rotating mass devices (12,13) at the input and drive shafts. An Independent claim is also included for a device as above in which the rotating masses comprise interlocking cogs.
