PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device which can easily pull out a water ejection portion even if the hand of a user is splippery due to the adhesion of soap or the like, and is high in pull-out operability. SOLUTION: The faucet device which is fixed to a wall surface positioned above a wash bowl includes a water ejection portion 24 to which a hose for supplying water is connected and in which a spout 26 for ejecting the water is formed, and a holding portion 27 which is fixed to an opening formed at the wall surface and which detachably holds the water ejection portion. The direction of the ejection of the water from the spout is the same as the direction of the release of the water ejection portion from the state of attachment to the holding portion. The water ejection portion has a handle 15 usable in releasing attachment from the holding portion only in a position concealed by the presence of the water ejection portion when the water ejection portion is attached to the holding portion and the user stands in a position right in front of the spout and where the user horizontally looks at the spout.
