<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage chair having arm massage units which can be slid to the sides or the back of a backrest when not in use. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The massage chair comprises a seat 20 on which a person to be treated sits, the backrest 30 arranged on the back of the seat to which the person to be treated leans, armrests 50 which extend from the right and left sides of the seat to the sides of the backrest and on which the elbows of the person to be treated are put, and the arm massage units 60 which are arranged on the armrests and massage the forearms of the person to be treated. The armrest has a slide mechanism 70 which is arranged along the armrest and whose rear end extends to the side or to the back of the backrest. The arm massage unit is installed on a slide member 76 arranged to be slidable on the slide mechanism.
