<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial resonance type step-up converter control circuit which can perform ZVS control and ZCS control stably no matter how large the duty of a pulse signal for generating a control signal may be. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This partial resonance step-up converter control circuit 1, which boosts the voltage Vin of a power source 45 and applies it to a load 46 by controlling each ON and OFF of a switching element 34 for voltage boosting and a switching element 37 for partial resonance, turns on the switching element 37 for partial resonance when a pulse signal PWM comes to a high level, turns on the switching element 34 for voltage boosting when the voltage V1 becomes zero, turns off the switching element 37 for partial resonance when the voltage V2 becomes negative, and turns off the switching element 34 for voltage boosting when the pulse signal PWM comes to a low level and it turns off the switching element 37 for partial resonance.
