PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machine capable of sufficiently securing the sealability and wear resistance of a sliding part between a fixed scroll and a movable scroll and improving power efficiency. SOLUTION: The movable scroll 34 of the fluid machine includes a first communication passage 80 communicated with a back pressure chamber 46 via a back pressure adjusting mechanism 70 and opening at a tip 34c of a spiral lap at a first prescribed position on the outermost periphery of the spiral lap 34a of the movable scroll, and a second communication passage 84 communicated with the back pressure 46 and opening at the tip 34c of the spiral lap at a second prescribed position on the inner-most periphery of the spiral lap 34a of the movable scroll.
