<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having novel game properties in which a game state profitable to the number of the upper limit is generated after a jackpot. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a profitable game adding means and a display means. The profitable game adding means generates a profitable game adding state with a higher jackpot probability after a finish of an extra prize-winning control state and returns the game state to a normal one without generating the profitable game adding state after a finish of the extra prize-winning control state based on the number of occurrences of extra prize-winning control states in the profitable game adding state becoming the number of the upper limit previously determined. The display means displays a result of a lottery in the profitable game adding state by a number equal to or smaller than the number of the upper limit. The display means, when displaying a result of the jackpot, displays the number of the upper limit as the upper limit value by deducting one by one stepwise from it.
