The device is fastened to a towing rope for producing electric energy by veering a towing kite. The towing rope is fastened to a cable winch firmly anchored with a ground. A cable winch (21) is connected with a generator (25) in torque-proof manner, by which an electric energy is produced by veering the towing kite.
