The device has a fan (10) for producing air flow through a heat exchanger, where the fan includes fan blades (16) arranged radially around a hub (14). Flowing ability of the heat exchanger is changeable by moving one of the fan blades around a radial axis (A). The fan blades are movably formed around the respective radial axis, where the fan blades are movable into a locking position in which flowing ability of the heat exchanger is reduced. The air flow is changeable by moving the fan blade and/or by changing speed of the hub.
