<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device capable of providing an accurate fuel injection quantity by predicting the fuel injection quantity of each cylinder and determining the time of completion of the injection of a fuel injection valve. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel injection device 1A includes a common rail 4 for storing the fuel fed with a high-pressure fuel pump 3B in an accumulated state, an injector 5A which is a direct-acting fuel injection valve for injecting the fuel fed thereto through a high-pressure fuel feed passage 21 branched from the common rail 4 for each cylinder of a diesel engine, and an ECU 80A for outputting an injection instruction signal for injecting the fuel from the injector 5A. An orifice 75 is installed in the high-pressure fuel feed passage 21 near the common rail 4, and a differential pressure sensor S<SB>dP</SB>for detecting the pressure difference between the upstream side and the downstream side of the orifice 75 is also installed therein. The ECU 80A obtains a cumulative injection quantity according to the signal from the differential pressure sensor S<SB>dP</SB>, and determines the time of completion of the injection according to the increase rate of the cumulative injection quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
