WOVEN FIBER-REINFORCED SHEET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fiber-reinforced sheet formed as a continuous flat woven fabric, and a method of manufacturing such a woven fiber-reinforced sheet with high work efficiency by a loom method.

SOLUTION: The woven fiber-reinforced sheet formed as a sheet-like woven fabric is formed by (a) arranging a plurality of continuous fiber-reinforced plastic wires 2 in parallel with predetermined gaps (g) as warp and arranging auxiliary warp 5 between the fiber-reinforced plastic wires 2 arranged in parallel, and (b) arranging weft 3 at predetermined spaces P along the longitudinal direction of the fiber-reinforced plastic wires 2 so as to be located on either side of the sheet-like fiber-reinforced plastic wires formed of a plurality of fiber-reinforced plastic wires 2 arranged in parallel, and weaving the weft 3 in the warp 2 and the auxiliary warp 5 to fix the plurality of fiber-reinforced plastic wires 2 arranged in parallel, into sheet shape.
