PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a required examination with a large-sized X-ray irradiation field even in a small examination room and to improve efficiency of the examination. SOLUTION: A bed device 100 includes a bed 101 on which a subject P is laid, an X-ray tube 102 which generates the X-ray, an X-ray diaphragm 103 which focuses the generated X-ray, an X-ray detector 104 which detects the X-ray transmitted through the subject P, a tube-holding portion 105 which holds the X-ray tube 102, a stand 106 which links the tube-holding portion 105 with the bed 101, and a handle 107 provided on the tube-holding portion 105. When an X-ray image is taken by the bed device, an operator moves the handle 107, thereby the tube-holding portion 105 slides in a direction of X-ray irradiation of the X-ray tube 102.
