<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in an image recording device configured to transmit drive power to each of a plurality of drive parts, a switching means of drive transmission which never causes increase in size of the device or increase in load of a carriage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A printer part 11 includes a drive transmission mechanism 70 which switches transmission of drive power from a motor. The drive transmission mechanism 70 includes an input lever 74 slidably supported by a support shaft 73, and a coil spring 65. An upper lever guide 83 is provided on the upper side of the support shaft 73, and a support guide 110 is provided further on the upper side. A lever 77 of the input lever 74 is inserted to a guide hole 86 of the lever guide 83 and to a guide hole 111 of the support guide 110. The guide hole 86 guides the lever 77 from a first guide position 88 to a third guide position 90 through a second guide position 89, and the guide hole 111 guides the lever 77 from the third guide position 90 to the first guide position 88 without through the second guide position 89.
