PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a showcase which does not require showcase conversion work etc. when a dew proofing heater of a showcase is controlled by using the dew proofing heater controller. SOLUTION: The showcase includes the dew proofing heater for preventing dew formation and a showcase side control device for controlling the operation of the showcase. The dew proofing controller includes a sensor for detecting humidity and a dew proofing heater controller side control device determining whether or not a current carried to the dew proofing heater of the showcase is required based on an output of the sensor and generating data on whether or not the current carried to the dew proofing heater is required. The showcase side control device and the dew proofing heater controller side control device enable data transmission. The showcase side control device controls the current carried to the dew proofing heater based on the data on whether or not the current carried to the dew proofing heater is required which are transmitted from the dew proofing heater controller side control device.
