<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation program and an installation device capable of easily installing a device driver or application software for the device driver in a proper configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Under such conditions that the device driver has been installed (S405: Yes), and all of application software corresponding to the installed device driver has not installed (S415: No), and there does not exist any other target device (S419: Yes), connection IF is automatically set without making a user select the connection IF.
