PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel and an optical system pattering an alignment layer of the LCD panel are provided to reduce foreign materials by eliminating the alignment layer using a laser. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel comprises the following steps: a step(S100) forming a first substrate and a second substrate on a plurality of pixels; a step(S110) forming a first alignment layer on the first substrate and forming a second alignment layer on the opposite side of the second substrate in which a color filter is included; a step(S120) pattering the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer by eliminating a part of the first alignment and the second alignment layer using a laser; a step(S130) combining the first substrate and the second substrate; and a step(S140) injecting the liquid crystal between the first substrate and the second substrate.
