PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous fiber-reinforced polyamide composition or a pellet made thereof, by which shaped articles having good surface fineness, even better mechanical properties, and good fatigue resistance can be provided. SOLUTION: The continuous fiber reinforced polyamide composition includes 100 pts.mass of a polyamide (I) having a dicarboxylic acid unit containing 40-100 mol% of a terephthalic acid unit and a diamine unit containing 60-100 mol% of a 4-18C aliphatic diamine unit, 0.01-10 pts.mass of nigrosine and/or a derivative thereof (II), and 5-300 pts.mass of a fibrous reinforcing material (III) having a fiber length of 3 mm or longer. The continuous fiber reinforced polyamide composition or a pellet made thereof is obtained by pultrusion molding or aligning the fibrous reinforcing materials (III) approximately parallel to each other.
