The carrier has a cooling duct with an inner wall section positioned radially inwards, and an upper wall section extending perpendicular to an axial direction of a piston (15). A lower wall section of the cooling duct is provided opposite to the upper wall section, where oil for the engine flows through a circular oil passage (42m). A connection hole connects a circular oil passage and an external chamber, where a section of the inner wall section, the upper wall section and the lower wall section is formed in the external chamber.
