PURPOSE: A mobile terminal which includes a touch screen and an icon control method using the same are provided to enable one icon to perform multiple function. CONSTITUTION: A display module(151) displays an icon which includes a function execution informing unit. The function execution informing unit informs whether one function is processed among multiple functions. A touch event of the icon is inputted to the display module. A control unit(180) decides the touch event. According to the touch event, the control unit performs one function among the multiple functions. The control unit converts one function into other function.
