<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely ensure the best-shot in a best-shot photographic mode and to improve operability easier. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus acquires a result of subject recognition and a photographic parameter as photographic information in the best-shot photographic mode, and determines whether photographic conditions (a photographic interval, the number of photographs to be taken, etc.) for best-shot photography need to be changed based upon the acquired photographic information. When the photographic conditions need not be changed, for example, default photographic conditions are employed, but when the photographic conditions need to be changed, photographic conditions are set based upon the photographic information. For example, when it is estimated from the photographic information that a subject is blurred with high possibility, a photographic interval is made shorter and the number of photographs to be taken is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
