PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vivo indwelling stent which is less likely to cause thrombogeneity and activation of blood coagulation factors resulting from the intersections of wire rods constituting the stent, and to provide a living organ dilator using the in-vivo indwelling stent.
SOLUTION: The stent 1 is the in-vivo indwelling stent which adheres to an in-vivo tissue by deforming in indwelling operation into the living body. The stent 1 is a cylindrical body obtained by weaving or knitting a plurality of wire rods 31 and 32 extending obliquely with respect to the center axis of the stent 1. Moreover, the stent 1 includes a large number of intersections 5 wherein the wire rods 31 and 32 intersect obliquely with respect to the axial direction of the stent. The abutting surfaces of at least one wire rod 32 in a part of the intersections 5 are flat surfaces 32a.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
