<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition which carries out stably the level orientation. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid crystal composition contains two or more kinds of polymerizable group-bearing liquid crystal compounds, among which at least one kind of the compound is a compound expressed by formula (I), and has a content of the compound which is expressed by formula (I): P<SP>1</SP>-L<SP>1</SP>-(Z<SP>1</SP>-A<SP>1</SP>)<SB>m</SB>-Z<SP>3</SP>-MA-Z<SP>4</SP>-(A<SP>2</SP>-Z<SP>2</SP>)n-L<SP>2</SP>-R<SP>0</SP>(wherein, P<SP>1</SP>is a polymerizable group; L<SP>1</SP>and L<SP>2</SP>are each a divalent spacer group; Z<SP>1</SP>through Z<SP>4</SP>are each a divalent linkage group; A<SP>1</SP>and A<SP>2</SP>are each a divalent cyclic group: m and n are each an integer of 0-3; MA is a derivative of a benzene ring, a naphthalene ring, a fluorene ring or the like; and R<SP>0</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a substituent), of 20-80 mass% relative to the whole mass of the above two or more kinds of crystal compounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
