<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device providing excellent operability at the time of wearing a webbing and allowing an occupant to smoothly get on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt device is equipped with: a retractor 2 winding/pulling-out the webbing W; a slip joint 4 making the webbing W pulled out of the retractor 2 turn around over a seat and guiding it to the webbing winding/pulling-out directions; a webbing insertion member 51 for inserting the webbing W on the webbing pulling-out side of the slip joint 4; and a displacement means (a cam 302, a webbing base member 50) for displacing the webbing insertion member 51 to the front direction at the time of wearing the webbing W.
