<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of producing articles according to the scheduled production quantity on the basis of a production plan. <P>SOLUTION: A weighing line system 100 includes: a weighing device 10 having a weighing part for weighing and discharging articles and a weighing controller 16 (a weighing control part) for controlling the operation of the weighing part; a packaging apparatus 30 having a packaging part 302 for packaging and discharging the articles and a packaging control part 301 for controlling the operation of the packaging part 302; and one or a plurality of inspection apparatuses 50 having an inspection part 502 for inspecting the articles and an inspection control part 501 for controlling the operation of the inspection part 502. The weighing controller 16 is configured in such a manner as to stop the weighing part when the total number of non-defective articles calculated from a defective signal supplied from an apparatus arranged downstream from the weighing device 10 in the production line such as the packaging apparatus 30 and the inspection apparatuses 50 and the number of articles discharged from the weighing device 10 equals the scheduled production quantity.
