<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method which is useful and simple for the control of the movement of a character. <P>SOLUTION: In a half-pipe 10 in a snow board game, a wall hit decision model 20 which is a non-display surface when an internal wall 11 is extended to an upper direction is arranged on a lip 12, which is the vertex (edge section) of the internal wall 11. Validity/invalidity of the wall hit decision model 20 is set, according to a speed V at the passage of a character on a decision face 30 which is decided at a position lower than the lip 12. When the wall hit decision model 20 is set as being valid, it is decided that there is the wall hit decision model 20, and character control is performed; and when the wall hit decision model 20 is set as being invalid, it is decided that there is no wall hit decision model, and character control is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
